This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our classroom is lucky to have many books. Some of our books support our rigorous reading and writing curriculum. Others teach us about the world. Some books make us laugh and others teach us about important people.

Our books need to be organized so that we can easily access them!

Many books in our classroom library are not being read because they are buried at the back of book bins. These bookshelves would help us to "feature" certain books at certain times of he school year to ensure that students are able to find the books that they want to read.
