We Love Osmo With iPads!
My students need Osmo Genius kits and headphones they can use with their iPads and do independent work.
My students walk into the classroom ready to tell me stories; something that happened the night before or that morning. Each day they enter with smiles on their faces and are eager to learn. They also have open arms giving hugs whenever they can!
Students come from a variety of backgrounds, some even homeless.
Some don't have much and they still remain positive about life. They are also loving and caring toward one another. The parents are very supportive and have invested interest in their child's education.
All of my students have an iPad that is used in the classroom. I have been able to incorporate different learning activities. The kids are reading, doing spelling words, phonics and even math lessons on the iPad. Next semester we will be using them for a science project.
I was introduced to the OSMO learning stations a few weeks ago and my wheels started turning.
There are so many learning activities that could be implemented if I had this tool to use in the classroom. Students will be able to enhance their reading and math with the use of OSMO. Having the OSMO stations in the classroom will help with student achievement.
We also need headphones to keep the noise down while students are doing independent work. This will help them stay focused on their learning.
DonorsChoose makes it easy for anyone to help a classroom in need. Public school teachers from every corner of America create classroom project requests, and you can give any amount to the project that inspires you.
