My students need lots of binders, dividers, markers and colored paper for their interactive binders and to make learning more organized and well as more fun!
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are from low socioeconomic status backgrounds and most receive free breakfast and lunch. Many of the students live in high-poverty areas. The obstacles my students face do not reflect on who they are and they do not let these obstacles bring them down.
My students have shaped me into the teacher I am today and I hope to return that favor to them everyday by providing them with a smile, with care, with love and with endless support.
Each year, I have greatly exceeded growth, not because of my students knowledge level, but because of the strong belief I have in my students. I am honored to be their teacher and watch them grow.
My Project
I strongly believe children retain the most information and gain the most knowledge when the learning is worthy of their time. Through interactive binders, learning stations and hands-on lessons, it is my goal to integrate exploration, creativity, arts, and other learning strategies into the classroom. Providing my students with binders, colored paper and markers will allow them to focus on the content in an organized and fun way! Students will increase their organization skills by using the binders and dividers. In addition, the students will be using their creativity with foldables to help them learn the content and study! These supplies will really make a difference in for my classroom!
