My Students

I have 26 students who are creative, intelligent, and love to read! I witness my students reading their library books everyday. With over 70% of my students coming from low income households and 30% ELL, they need chapter books to satisfy their reading needs. I love their daily reading habits in my classroom and how their comprehensions skills have developed so far this school year. They will use chapter books to discuss target comprehension strategies we learn in class and work together on reading skills.

My Project

They want to have book discussions and projects. They are eager to learn but need sets of chapter books to practice their reading skills. I’m so proud of my students’ reading progress so far this year! I want them to continue digging into interesting books together as a class and in small differentiated groups.

These chapter books will make a tremendous impact on guided reading instruction in our classroom!

They love reading and we don’t have sets of chapter books for meaningful small group discussions. I would love for my students to read the books I hand selected to make a difference in their reading instruction! Please consider donating to my wonderful group of students. They deserve to read quality books for engaging lessons!
