Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Education is no longer a one-size-fits-all model. Children need to be presented with tools that will accommodate the learning needs of all our students so that all are challenged, but not overwhelmed by the learning process.
I teach a wonderful class of 25 third graders.
They are excited, energetic and enthusiastic. My students love to learn and they love technology. BrainPOP is an online educational website that allows children to learn and discover at their own pace. Using BrainPOP will allow for whole group instruction, as well as self-paced instruction on classroom PCs and in the computer lab.
My Project
BrainPOP is an online educational resource that creates animated, curricular content that engages students, supports educators, and bolsters achievement. BrainPOP supports individual, team, and whole class learning, meeting all third grade standards. A classroom subscription to this website will give all students an opportunity to access characters that help introduce new topics and illustrate complex concepts.
Having access to BrainPOP will allow all students to access the curriculum for instruction and review at their own pace.
It will also keep them current with technology, which is vital in education today. Thank you for helping us achieve our goals.
