Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Every morning is a good morning because WE are happy! We sing and get our energy charged up to have an amazing day. We learn, sing, and dance. We are goofy when we can and serious when we need to be serious. We are very proactive on our activities and love to share what we have done.
My students are the most AMAZING children I have ever taught.
They are always so eager to learn and very motivated. They love everything we do and are always so happy to help others. I admire their compassion and how well they interact with each other. My school is a bilingual campus, and a title 1 school, which means that a great percentage of our students are from low income families. Even though my school is a Title 1 school, we are blessed to be in a great community that is always willing to help, volunteer and have great citizens that mentor children and help teachers.
My Project
I am requesting one Cubby Storage Unit and one set of Clear-View Bins. My classroom is a new created classroom, and my children need cubbies to keep their work and materials organized. I was able to provide stretchable book covers as chair pockets for their work in progress papers and book bags, but they need another place to place the rest of the things they work with. I think that the cubbies with the clear bins will help them have a place of their own to keep their things.
My students are very focused and very enthusiastic.
Nothing will stop them from learning, but having an organized room will help them be organized. Having a set of cubbies with clear bins will help them achieve that goal, be responsible for their own things, and take pride on their work.
