My Project

My kindergarten students love to read little books at their level. Indiana has adopted the Science of Reading as a basis for our reading instruction and I would love to add some more book sets to my current collection for my small group instruction. Lakeshore has a great set that covers all my kiddos' varying reading levels and all of these book sets are phonics-based and fit perfectly with the Science of Reading theories on early reading development. They are also short with cute pictures to pique my kiddos' interest and get them engaged in the little stories.

The kids enjoy taking home little books each evening and sharing them with their families, and these are perfect to add to our classroom rotation.

I am excited to add several new sets of books for my eager students. Kindergarten is so very important to set those reading foundations.
