Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a kindergarten teacher who is lucky enough to work with the sweetest group of children this year. In our classroom, you will find students with big dreams and an array of personalities. The students are passionate learners who invest themselves in their lessons. In our class, we all consider each other, family, and we love and support each other. My students build each other up and celebrate the growth and accomplishments of their peers. Love can be felt in our classroom.
Our classroom has a large number of students who learn best through touch and visual learning.
We are expanding our STEAM learning this year to support our students to become creative thinkers. We need your help to build up our access to a variety of learning tools and games that will spark creativity. In addition to learning materials, I am also adding items to help keep our classroom as clean as possible. The hands-on materials requested will help our creative play come to life at home or at school, wherever we might be learning from this school year.
My Project
Help give my students the gift of learning with play through the addition of the entire set of Lakeshore Counting Mats. The counting mats are excellent kits filled with games that are on level for kindergarten students. The games include all the things needed to have a hands on learning experience.
The addition of educational gift cards from Teachers Pay Teachers will support our students with digital learning and those in the classroom.
The marketplace of Teachers Pay Teachers is a place where educators sell their creations that they have developed for thier own classrooms. This year there are many who understand graphic and digital formats and have helped by creating endless resources within the applications that our at home digital learners are using this school year. The gift cards would bring games and smiles to our children at home while also providing an excellent learning experience.
