For the first time in my career I am working at a public school and I absolutely love it! There is such a difference in the resources made available for students. Some of my students are struggling and receiving remediation, and some are gifted and love being challenged. They all have different learning styles, and I love seeing their eyes light up when they learn something new! Although they are all very different, they all have one thing in common, they love school and enjoy the flexible seating options we have in the classroom right now.
I am striving to have a completely flexible classroom setting; kids love being able to pick their seats, and it leads to a more collaborative learning environment.
My Project
Have you ever tried to sit down in a student desk for three hours straight? Boring! Some of my students can't, and end up sitting on the floor where they are more comfortable. I have selected different kinds of seating options for my current and future students. I know that with the different seating options my students will excel in their learning experience. I know they will love the wobble chairs, bean bag chairs and lap desks!

I am always learning as an educator and I visited a classroom with flexible seating, and it was amazing, the students loved it! The students loved having the power to sit where they wanted to, and on different kinds of chairs. I am really looking forward to making this a reality in my classroom, but I need your help!
