My Students

Students enter our classroom every day with a smile and positive attitude. They know they are going to be respected, loved and have a choice in their learning. All students learn differently and it is my goal to make sure all students learn in their best way.

They are constantly challenged to think outside the box and work to the best of their ability.

As a class and a school we strive to create a relaxed and friendly environment to ensure each student is reaching their full potential, individually and academically. We work to build a home like atmosphere, so each student feels comfortable and safe.

My Project

My students will be using these stools at their desk to allow them movement while still working hard. Certain times of the day call for down time at their desk, but students still need the sense of freedom as they work. Seat work is where I see my students struggle with getting comfortable and staying on task.

By allowing them safe controlled movement in their space, they can concentrate on their assigned task and create their personal best work.

I have learned my students need a lot of movement throughout the day. I provide them with as much as I can, but when it comes time to work in their desk, I can tell they still need the mobility to reach their full potential.
