My Students
I have a 5th grade classroom of 23 amazing, diverse learners. Our school is in East Grand Forks, MN. We are a Title I school and serve students with an array of backgrounds. My students come to school every day with a thirst and drive for learning. Their passion for learning grows stronger by the minute. We actively work on STEM projects incorporating science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. We have a flexible seating classroom, which allows students to move and engage in a variety of different settings and groups.
My students strive every day to "Be the Change you wish to see in the World".
My Project
I am requesting four wobble stools for my students to use throughout the classroom. These ergonomic stools are designed with a convex base, so students can move around while they are sitting down. This movement provides both physical and mental benefits to the students. While the students are moving, they are more focused on their work. Students can sway and wiggle while sitting in these stools and not disrupt the other students.
Put Kids in control of their own learning!!
These stools will be a great addition to our flexible seating classroom. It will give our students another great space to do their best work.
