Help me give my students speakers for listening to books online, lap desks, and craft supplies. They love using these items daily and they are needed in our room for growth at all levels.
First graders are always beaming with pride and energy. The students who are in my classroom are always ready to learn. They take on new learning with zest. They are like sponges who want to absorb all that they can while they are in the classroom.
The children love having options in their day and these options help them feel like they have ownership over their education.
Centers, music, varying materials, and flexible seating allow for them to have these choices in their school life on a daily basis.
My Project
The bluetooth speakers will be used for transitions, listening to books online and transition with music. These will be used daily and multiple times a day. It will eliminate the need for students to need to find cd's and for them to be more independent. Students love music and I try to incorporate this throughout the day.
The craft materials of clay and paper are important for learning letters, doing math activities, and just being creative without restraints.
Students will use these materials during learning times as well as free time and imagination stations. We have gone through a lot of these materials this year. Students love the chances to have hands on tasks. These materials will provide this for them.
Finally, the lap desks and seats will give them the chance to pick some other seating arrangements in their daily tasks. They have a lot of options, but I am always looking for ways to accommodate all children in the classroom to the best of my ability. I have had the chance to observe them in other classroom and in other schools. I would love to give my children the chance to use these as well.
