My students need an Apple iPad mini.

Ideally I would love to have an iPad for each one of my students. For now I am requesting one. This amazing tool would really empower my students and engage them in learning.
I am a Teaching Fellow in my eighth year of teaching.
I teach a 3rd/4th/5th grade bridged special education class (multiple subjects). My classroom demographic is diverse. My students are of ages 8-10. They have been diagnosed with learning disabilities (speech/language impairment, cognitive/developmental delays, etc.), sensory impairments (visual, auditory), related health alerts (ADD/ADHD) and emotional/behavioral disorders (EBD). I have a class of 12 children this year, 9 boys and 3 girls. My students come to school ready and eager to learn. They are faced with daily challenges and the school is unable to provide all the materials that are needed in order for them to reach their full potential. My students learn differently because of this reason they were not able to perform well in a general educational setting. As a result I try to incorporate technology in my classroom as much as possible.

Audio books provide many benefits. To name a few: audiobooks Introduce students to books above their reading level, model good interpretive reading, teach critical listening, introduce new genres that students might not otherwise consider and introduce new vocabulary or difficult proper names or locales. If I could I would provide iPads for all my students. For now, I am requesting one iPad for my dear students.
Your help will ensure that my students get the materials they need to become better citizens.
My students and I would be very grateful if you support us by funding this proposal. Thank you in advance.
