Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials I am asking for will help my kindergarten students refocus, recenter, and reset their little minds. Materials, such as weighted plush animals and magnetic spheres, will allow my students to sit quietly by themselves and take a break whenever they need it.

By selecting these calming activities, it will allow my students to engage in quiet, individual activities, as they regroup, and get themselves back together, so they can continue on their learning journey.

These materials will help to recenter my students, especially if they are feeling overwhelmed, sad, or simply needing a break. Young learners get overwhelmed too, and need time to reset. I believe I chose the best materials for my kindergarten students to do just that!
