My students need djembe drums to keep the beat in our art-infused curriculum! We currently have no djembes or drums in our music room.

My Students

My scholars at our school are diverse in demographics and eager to use art-infused curriculum! We need djembe drums to enhance their learning daily and prepare them for college! We've got the beat, but we need to beat it on drums! We are learning about many different cultures and our hands-on learning of African djembes will assist scholars in learning multicultural history which will aid them in Math as they learn patterns! We don't have any drums, and we don't have funding to purchase them! Thanks for your help and support!

My Project

Our scholars are very academic, diverse and very musical! We don't have instruments for them in music class, and we need djembe drums to enhance their multicultural learning in our art-infused curriculum which prepares scholars for college and beyond! Djembes help us keep our focus on the steady beat in the primary grades and add to our music standards of creating. We are working on creativity, and djembe drums would add to our classroom in creating rhythms individually and in groups! We could add this to our assemblies! Thanks for your support!
