Help me give my students an amazing place to gather! Thank you so much.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Have you ever dug for diamonds? Here is your opportunity! Diamonds are found in some of the deepest, darkest layers of our earth. Many diamonds can be discovered in the recesses of our largest cities.
We are an urban school, however our students are the jewels of our community.
Our students are from low income homes, and 100% qualify for free meals. Their hunger for learning is as tangible as their basic needs. Just as joy crosses their faces as they partake of the nutrients, absolute glee radiates outward when knowledge is ignited. The fire of learning spreads, heightening their cohesiveness, sense of community, and learning to put others before self.
With your generosity, you can help us excavate, polish, and refine the precious gems that all kids desire to be!
My students need a warm place to sit when we gather together. Our floors are cold and it has already been 17 degrees! My students will sit on this rug during instructional time.
With your help, a warm inviting rug could make all the difference.
We would appreciate anything you can give to help us reach our goal. We use the rug to read together, gather for group instruction and meet for big discussions. We each would have our own colored square to sit on - and we need our own space!
I also asked for copier paper. Sometimes the students just need to see the work printed in front of them. Thanks!!
