Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Sit still," "stop tapping," "stop moving." These are words that my students often here! We have wiggly students that need to get their jitters out!
Our class decided to try out a hokki stool.
Once we got it, my students won't stop asking to use it! It is a great incentive, however it was meant for my more wiggly students!
Guess what? We are the only class in the whole school that has a hokki stool! Let's get more (because, my students deserve it). In all of the fourth grade, we have the most students with perfect attendance! That is because I have great incentives that donors like you have given us!
My Project
My students will be able to get their jitters out without disrupting the entire class. I have tried a hokki stool on my wiggliest student and he was able to concentrate all day! It was so amazing! I want to be able to do this for more of my wiggly students!
I cannot stress how much of a difference this will make.
My wiggly students will be able to concentrate more, thus doing better in academically. And what is the purpose of going to school? To learn!
