This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My class is a special group of children. They are girls and boys who have many struggles or obstacles to get through each and every day to come to school and be successful. They live in the city that is consistently named "the most dangerous city," but my students fight to overcome that label every day by coming to school and succeeding.
These students are smart, funny and eager to learn.
They work hard to do their best in everything we do in class.
So even though they might have struggles children should not have to deal with, my children succeed and are great learners, students, and cuties.
My Project
My students need markers, pencils, folders and math stations to complete their daily work. Supplies are so limited in our building that we are out of pencils, markers, and folders. These supplies are essential if the students are to succeed in school. My students don't have the resources to purchase items that are needed. We use the markers and pencils for math, science and writing lessons everyday. We also need our folders to teach our students how to be neat and organized with their school work.
I created this project in hopes that we will get the supplies we need for a successful learning year!
