My Students
My students come from very diverse backgrounds. Many of my students come from homes where English is not the primary language. Others live in poverty.
I always strive to make my classroom environment a safe and inviting place for my students to learn.
I teach at a community school where one hundred percent of the students receive free breakfast and lunch. Despite the challenges they face, my students come in every morning eager to learn. I truly believe school is the best part of my students' day.
My Project
My students come to school with a positive attitude and ready to learn everyday! Most of my students are ADHD or ADD. They have a lot of stored energy that needs to be released. While I try to incorporate as many strategies as I can to release energy, they still are moving constantly. I know we expect a lot out of our little learners and it is hard for them to sit still for extended amounts of time.
Wobble Stools will help my students release energy while learning!
I have asked for 6 wobble stools to start. (I would LOVE to have a class set!!) The Wobble stools will support students during small group rotations during math and reading.
