We Can Hear
Help me give my students working headphones. Currently we only have a few sets of headphones that do work and they don't plug in very well but these headphones are durable and will last for several year.
My students this year are active and excited to learn new things. They love to ask questions and try out new things that they have learned. They are very curious about the world and have learned that they can find out the information they want to know about from the books they choose to read. They are also very goal oriented and set goals for themselves all the time; such as going up a reading level, mastering a specific skill in writing, and spending time working on their math skill sets.
We are a class of 11 general education students from low income families, 7 special education students, one general education teacher (me), a special education teacher, a behavior interventionist and a para-educator.
They are a great group of students who are always excited to learn and try their best. They are developing growth mindsets and learning how to be responsible citizens of this world. There are 10 girls and 8 boys, 7 second language learners and 3 main cultures in our room. Please help us continue to grow.
These headphones will make a huge difference in my classroom because they are comfortable, colorful, and they work. We currently only have a handful of headphones and they don't plug into our ipads very well. My students also say that the headphones are uncomfortable.
These will make my classroom better because the headphones will stay plugged in, my students will find them comfortable, and they will last longer than the ones I currently have.
I am also asking for a class set so that way each of my students has their own set and if I get any new students they will have their own pair as well.
