This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My class consists of lecture and hands-on activities. I would like for my students to be better prepared for college, in that they will be familiar with lab safety, equipment, and technique. We do a lab once a week that reflects information presented for that week.

We are located in a military town and therefore my students are from very diverse backgrounds.

75% of the students are on free and reduced-price lunches and may be the first to go to college in their families; others are from professional families. With your support, you will be helping to make these students' dreams come true.

My Project

My students are just amazing and love to learn new things. They strive to fill their minds with knowledge and it is just amazing to watch them work so hard to grow as students. No matter what their backgrounds are or what obstacles get in their way, they never stop moving forward. I want to offer my students a new adventure in our classroom through BreakOut Edu kits to allow me to create a escape classroom learning pathway. My students love to work together in teams, and they have grown into amazing scientists throughout this year. I feel that having access to these BreakOut Edu kits it will only allow my students to continue to grow and learn while they are preparing themselves for college. Skills such as teamwork, collaboration, and critical thinking are the skills that will benefit my students throughout the rest of their high school, college and professional lives. My students would not have the opportunity to use BreakOut Edu kits without the support of donors like yourself believing in them and supporting them through your generosity. These five BreakOut Edu kits not only will benefit my current students, but all my upcoming students as I will be able to use them for multiple years. Thank you for your consideration.
