My Students

My students are excited and ready to learn every day! They all learn differently, and they each teach me something new every time we work together. My students also like to move and be active throughout their day. The students that I work with have sensory opportunities embedded into their day in the form of breaks and hands-on multi-sensory academics tasks. Being able to provide as many sensory opportunities as possible is important to their success in and out of the general education environment.

My Project

Fine motor tasks can be so challenging for my students. The scissors I have requested will allow my students to be more successful with cutting exercises. It takes a lot of planning to cut and turn paper!! The foam paints will provide a fun way to practice letter formation,and strengthen the smallest of hands to improve stamina with a pencil! Theraputty will give kids hand strengthening exercises throughout the day. The paper punches will also strengthen little hands. The pencil grips will allow my students to form letters on paper even better than they do now.

These engaging and fun tools will help my student's fine motor strength, and they won't even realize it!
