My Students

Kindergarten is such an exciting time for my little kiddos to blossom into lifelong learners. I have so much passion for teaching and nothing brings me more joy than being with my kindergarten students! It takes a big heart to shape little minds!

As a kindergarten teacher, it is my sincere passion to instill a love for learning in my students!

They make my heart so full!

We love growing together as a class all year, and we enjoy seeing each other learn new things, becoming closer as a class, and always cheering each other on.

Our students are diverse and come from many backgrounds and ethnicities. Many students are new to the country and are learning English. We have two programs at our school. The ESL program and the STEP program servicing children with autism.

My Project

In Kindergarten we are learning the alphabet letters and the sounds each letter represents. I would like to provide my students with hands-on materials that make learning these key foundational concepts fun! The alphabet tiles will allow my students to not only identify the alphabet but create new words. It is important that students are not sharing materials due to COVID 19. This class set will allow each student to have their own set of alphabet letter tiles to use for reading and writing!

Young children need hands-on and visual materials to effectively learn the letters of the alphabet.

I plan to use these phonics and letter recognition materials during daily center time. Your donation to this project will help my students grow as readers and writers! Thank you for your help with this project.
