Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal is to give my refugee students from all over the world a quiet corner in my classroom where they can relax, decompress, and feel safe. These donations will help my classroom to feel cozy and warm and for my students to have a nice place to meet with me and work on different goals and strategies to have a successful academic year. The couch and chair will be put to good use during our one on one meetings or small group sessions. The book shelf and storage will help to display books and keep the fidget toys safe for them.
