This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our fifth graders are a fantastic bunch of students who are enthusiastic about learning. Most of our students are going off to over 15 different middle schools, so 5th grade promotion is an important transition.

"We Are the Change: Words of Inspiration from Civil Rights Leaders" is a book with inspirational quotes from Civil Rights Leaders.

As our 5th graders move on to middle school, this book will help encourage them to make a difference in the world as these Civil Rights leaders have.

Please help our students recall this special transition from elementary to middle school with a feeling of love and support from the community.
