My students are an inspiring group of children who are enthusiastic about learning each and every day. They love to work collaboratively with their peers during ELA and Math instruction. My students love to learn while moving! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
We are working together to develop our social emotional skills as well as reading, writing and math skills.
I would love to see my students grow their literacy knowledge in order to deepen their writing process and thoughts. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are!
In my inclusion kindergarten classroom, we are working very hard to become better readers! We are focusing on our reading super powers and we want to become the best readers we can be!
My Project
The selected items are guided reading books for the students to read in the classroom and bring home to read with their parents. It is so important at this age to develop the at home connection especially for reading. It would be amazing if I could send home different books with my students each week!
As my students grow, they will be able to move up their reading level as they prepare themselves for first grade!
These guided reading books are differentiated by the students reading levels.
I am excited to continue to watch my students become better, stronger readers!
