We Are SHARP and Ready to Learn!

My students need an electric pencil sharpener and new pencils!

My Students

My students need an electric pencil sharpener! This electric pencil sharpener and new pencils will allow for us to move on with our learning instead of wasting unnecessary time on the manual sharpener.

I teach a very diverse group of twenty wonderful first graders.

My classroom does not have a quality working pencil sharpener for students to use. We currently use a manual one that is provided in our classroom but my little first graders have a VERY hard time sharpening pencils long enough for them to be able to use. It is very time-consuming to wait to sharp each pencil one by one in the manual sharpener. A heavy-duty electric pencil sharpener would allow me the luxury of having pencils sharp and ready when students need to use them!

My Project

Having an electric pencil sharpener in our room will excite my students with SHARP new pencils! The electric pencil sharpener in my class will help keep the students supplied with pencils without wasting time sharpening on a small manual sharpener. This project is very important because it will supply my students with the basic necessities to learn. The pencil sharpener will be put to great use so we can get rid of blisters and long waits at the manual sharpener!

the new heavy duty electric pencil sharpener and NEW pencils will encourage learning, excite my students with new basic necessities, and to stop wasting time on our manual sharpener!
