This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have special needs in the areas of Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Other Health Impairments. They come from a low socioeconomic background. All families qualify for free lunches. All of my students have individual, unique gifts to offer. They are very active and energized. They enjoy using the technology provided by our school and enjoy learning using technology.

My students are funny, smart, cute and excited about learning!

I am honored to be their teacher. They brighten up my day.

My Project

My students are visual and tactile learners! They enjoy science and constantly express how much they want to be scientists when they grow up. I love how the rock cycle lab and butterfly habitat are hands on. They will be able to manipulate the butterfly habitat and rock cycle lab and create their own science experiences. These projects will help my students meet science standards for Earth and Life Sciences.

Giving my students the hands on science materials they need will help enhance their love of all things science.
