My students come from a tight knit community with diverse backgrounds. I live in the neighborhood and have watched it change over the years. It has a walking district with various ethnic shops to serve the population.
Our school serves free breakfast and lunch to our K-8 students.
They are growing and learning each and everyday. They inspire me with their kindness and respect for each other. They are so excited and ready to learn that their enthusiasm is contagious. They are our future humanitarians and leaders.
My Project
The pencils,crayons, dry erase markers and erasers I am requesting are for the beginning of next year. It makes a big difference when you have all the supplies you need to start the year off right.
It is important to have pencils and crayons when working on problems in class.
We use dry erase markers on slates everyday in math class. These tools help students show their math thinking when solving problems on slates. Students love to share their strategies with others in the class. The stickers help motivate students to do a good job on classwork and tests. Your donation will help improve time on task!
