This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a predominantly low socioeconomic community in a school where 100% of the students receive free breakfast, free lunch, and free early supper. The school offers the most stable, safe, and comfortable environment for my students to gain knowledge through learning.

As 21st century learners, my students show excitement for learning.

Learning is of the essence, and my students know that it is important to be physically and mentally ready for school. Spring testing is around the corner, and my students want to be ready for the test.

My Project

Well, as you may know by now, state testing is around the corner, and the pandemic is not holding back. Therefore, we must proceed with caution because my students will be testing this spring. In order to make this testing opportunity a great success, we must be fully equipped.

Our students have a functioning laptop, but they all lack the proper tools to minimize distractions and to fully grasp their attention to the test.

Mobility of the cursor is another feature that is a must for testing success. A class set of headphones will bring direct attention to the student with little or no distraction. A mouse will be highly effective for cursor mobility since the test demands some technologically advanced features. A mouse pad will allow easy movements when navigating the laptop. All these tools will certainly help my students to focus on state testing this spring.
