Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Two years ago, our wonderful school was hit by a tornado while the students were in the building. Ever since then, we have been at a temporary school site. We are happy to announce that we are finally moving back home! The move and other expenses have left our school without many basic necessities.

When we return back home, we want our school to be filled with love and plenty of supplies for all students and teachers.

These materials would support all PK-2 students at our school.

My Project

After almost two years of learning in a temporary school site, our students are finally moving back to the school site. I want them to be equipped with basic school supplies like anchor charts, pencils and markers, so they can finally feel at home.

These basic school supplies will go a long way in supporting over 200 students learning needs.

These markers, pencils, etc. will go to 12 classrooms and make such a large impact on every child's daily learning. Many of our school's cost has gone to the cost of moving buildings, so any little donation goes a long way.
