We Are Glowing in First Grade

My Project

This year has been a challenging year for my students (and for me). Even though we are in school full time, school is not the same as it used to be. My poor students have never experienced a normal school year. They have to wear masks and social distance from their classmates. Despite their challenges, they still show up to school every day ready to learn!

I want to reward all of my students' hard work with a glow-in-the-dark party!

We have large windows in our classroom so the black paper would be used to cover those windows! I added black lights to make everything glow in the door! This project has glow-in-the-dark glasses, glow sticks, balloons, and colored tape. What is a glow-in-the-dark party without things that glow?!? My students will write in a yellow high lighter that day so that even their work glows!!!
