My Students

"We're kinda like a family, aren't we?" Walk into our hallway, and you will immediately feel the love and sense of community there. Our kiddos know they are safe and welcome and come to school every day with an excitement that is contagious. They work hard at everything they do and never give up no matter what we throw at them.

Our kids deserve every opportunity we can give them.

We have a very motivated group of kids who are willing to try anything. There are so many experiences we want these kids to have because they deserve it more than anyone else in the world. We just need the tools to do it.

My Project

We use iPads every day in my classroom during small group instruction. Recently, I have had most of my current headphones give out even with students taking care of them so the noise level has increased along with the distraction level.

With new headphones, not only will my students will be able to hear what is on their iPads but it will decrease the distractions for other students working around the room.

This will allow me to accomplish more at my small group table as well as decrease the amount of time I spend redirecting my first graders who may become distracted.
