I currently teach in a Title I school. It is my job to reach all of my students and turn them into lifelong learners and teach them life skills. I have twenty students who are eager to learn. I have three students who receive resource and two students who are currently in an RTI Pullout Program. I have several students who are reading and writing below grade level and then I have several students functioning high on a third-grade level.
I love to instill in my students the importance of life skills and being able to collaborate with others.
My Project
I am requesting a few items needed to help my eager writers, become real authors. With the colored blank writing books, they can turn their writings into real books. The ink cartridges, is so that they can print their writings and pictures needed to enhance their books to make them even more professional looking. The flair Papermate pens will help them have colors to use if they want to make their writing stand out and for a pop of color.
All writers need to have joy when they publish their writings.
I want my students to feel as if they are authors and to experience having books to use at their disposal. I think this will make their creativity explode and become excited about writing.
