My Project

My students are always excited to learn and participate. They love singing, dancing and performing. They are eager to share what they learn with their peers, teachers and parents. This material will be used to make skirts to perform a Hispanic Dance (Bomba) that will reflect the African slave experience.

Mauricio Macri stated eloquently that "there is more that unites us than divides us".

The main goal is for students to understand and celebrate that we all have more in common than we realize and that we should celebrate one another.
