We Are All Different! Technology and Seating Can Be Too!
My students need a Chromebook to enhance whole and small group instruction and intervention groups. They need flexible seating options to move while learning.
My students amaze me every day! Most come from low income families. They are faced with challenges they have no control over, but they come to school eager to learn and full of enthusiasm!
They have many different levels of learning, abilities, and interests.
My goal is to create a caring classroom community that promotes the love of learning!
I will have about 20 energetic, loving second graders this year. I'm looking forward to finding out all about them so we can learn together!
My Project
Having a Chromebook in our class will allow me to fully implement Daily 5 and Cafe. This device will allow me use the Cafe Pensive to keep track of students progress and goals. I can utilize it to set up and create differentiated skill groups as well as use it for individual instruction. It will allow me to confer with individual students, take notes, and set goals.
The donations for this project will help my students stay engaged while learning, as well as increase their reading and writing skills!
Having WOBBLE chairs will provide an alternate seating choice for my active students that require movement to help them stay focused on their learning.
This project will help enhance the learning of every student in my classroom!
