My Students

Everyone needs to feel a part of something. We are trying to make sure all of our students are given that chance. Outdoor games are a great way to introduce cooperative learning. Working together helps us become better citizens.

We are a school of many low SES students.

We strive to help our kids learn about working together and at the same time, have fun doing it. Activities such as Spinnerz and the Light Up Poles will help us do just that. Many of our students do not have opportunities to get out and interact outside of their homes. We want to give them opportunities they do not regularly have.

My Project

I try and find equipment that presents a wow factor. Spinnerz and the Lighted Pole game provide that. They are not something you would find at your local discount store. Unique equipment inspire kids to want to be active and thus work together. My goal of all children working together to accomplish a common goal of working as a team will be easy to accomplish.

Without opportunities such as DonorsChoose, I can not provide what I need to accomplish my program goals.

I am given very limited resources to use towards the purchase of equipment. The equipment I obtain will be used by students for several years. The impact of your donation towards this project will continue well into the future as the lessons go far beyond playing the games.
