Teaching at a low to no income school has hindered my teaching. Not having the supplies I need to run my class has made teaching hard. Teaching a Preschool class I would like my students to have a great experience for their first time being in school.

The obstacles my students face are not being culturally aware of the many different cultures we have in the world. I would like my students to know there are many different cultures and also people with different abilities in our world. I would like my preschoolers to have the experience of knowing different cultures.

I would like my students to have multicultural dolls and also dolls with different abilities. Having these items in my class will teach my students we are all alike no matter how we look. Since preschool is their first interaction with other students, I want my students to know we love one another.

I would like your help, to help me give awareness to my students. I believe people are not born ignorant, but they are just don’t know the other cultures around them. I would like to impact my students while they are young, to understand we are one big family.
