My students need 25 pairs of virtual reality glasses to help them explore agriculture in 3D. There is an amazing app called FarmVR that is going to be amazing to use in class!

These students come from a variety of backgrounds and few have an agriculture background so it has been adventure this year to open their eyes to see what exactly what the agriculture industry has to offer.

My students are driven in their goals and what they want to accomplish in life. They are very outgoing and love to show off what they have learned in both the classroom and the shop. However, without the right tools we don't have a toolbox that allows us to explore 21st century skills in agriculture.
My Project
When you can't go to the diary farm, you bring the dairy farm to you! Using Virtual Reality glasses will be a fantastic way for students to explore a dairy farm or other agriculture industries right from their classroom. This is the perfect way to use technology in the classroom!
Virtual Reality is changing classroom and I want my classroom to become a part of that movement.
We were fortunate to use the Google Virtual Field trips for one day and my students still talk about how exciting it was. Now the question has moved to, "when are we going to do it again?" When students are excited about something they are learning, they soak in information better. Help us bring that excitement back!
