My Students

Orchestra class is unlike any ordinary class. Aside from the obvious signs of the class not having the traditional chair and desk look, the students in my class are unlike any other. To be specific, the orchestra students always are enthusiastic, even on the gloomiest days and are always filled with positive energy.

However, our music department is a true exception.

Our combined choir and instrumental programs have produced phenomenally talented young adults and leaders who strive to inspire countless audience members. It is difficult to distinguish them as ordinary high school students at first glance, yet little do you know how much they are empowered through the arts.

My Project

Not only are we musicians but we are also a color guard during marching band season. We use flags in our color guard routine. We use flags to wave to the crowd. In order for us to do color guard we need flags and poles to incorporate in our routine. Flags are essential to a color guard team. The flags we have now are old and rustic. With these flags we can create a routine with tosses and other techniques to create memorable routine for all to watch. With these new flags we will be able to do more techniques in our routine and stun the crowd.
