My Students

My students are a group of hard-working individuals. They are truly the best! We are from a low poverty area that is struggling economically. This is the same area and elementary school I grew up in. A lot of the students I have don't get an opportunity to get out and be exposed to the world. I work at the largest elementary school in the district, and I just want my students to be up to date and exposed to different types of technology.

My Project

We do a lot of projects in our STEM lab that require water. Our classroom has been relocated with water sources that are not as close as we'd like. Also the sinks have the small faucets and we don't have enough room to get in there. This sink we are requesting has a high sink which would be more than enough. We have been working with erosion and water is a very important component of this activity. This sink and small and very compact. We have ramp access very close to empty it. This would also cut down on so many students being in the hallway making trip after trip for water. We are constantly doing different projects and we need a water source!
