Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This school year, I have 32 sixth graders who are eager to learn. They love to come to school, and the school year requires several supplies that will be used. Our school is a Title I elementary school in the California Bay Area. Students are in constant need of supplies, and donations from families are limited.

All of our students love to learn, and I make it my goal to help them absolutely love coming to school each and every day.
My Project
Let's face it, children are active. Throughout the day, students are moving around. With all of the activity, students need to be able to stay hydrated.
Not all students know to keep their mouths off the water fountains, so help us keep our class healthy by giving them their own water bottles.
Especially during the current health crisis, it is essential that precautions are put in place to keep students healthy and limit the spread of germs. With the water bottles, students will be able to refill their bottles with filtered water from our classroom Brita system. Let's stay hydrated and healthy!
