Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students come from a strong agriculture community. Most of my students live in extreme poverty and are first generation high school graduates with the hope of being first gen college grads. They are working hard to break the cycle of poverty. My kids deserve the best I can teach them with.

I teach Public Safety.

My students are learning about careers in law enforcement, corrections and fire sciences. I am shaping the future leaders of our community by teaching cutting-edge STEM technology.

My Project

Having a GoPro will allow my students to record classroom practicals, competition practice, competitions and gain valuable work experience. Public Safety as a career, uses recordings for a variety of case-related tasks. A GoPro will allow my students learn how to document the many activities and competition prep and competitions so they can see what areas they can improve in. Learning how to capture accurate video is a valuable job skill for my future law enforcement officers. This camera will help my students take their game average up to the next level and bring home the medals.
