Our school has over 350 students and we have such a wonderful school environment. We are a very low income school district and the students are beyond excited to get some of the opportunities our school provides. As with an unfortunate number of schools across the country, the physical education department is not at the top of many people's priority list. We must look to unique ways to acquire those items.
My students are eager, have lots of energy, and need opportunities to grow and learn in a fun and healthy environment.
They can take the knowledge they gain at school, and take it home to inspire their families to get up and move.
My Project
We are asking for a Surface Go. The Surface Go will be used in a variety of ways to aid in assessments and instruction of my students. The Surface Go will be used to record fitness test scores, using WelNet. The uses for the Surface Go will increase as new apps are being made available to help students achieve.
Having a Surface Go will motivate my students to learn through physical activity as well as engaging them in cognitive assessments during physical education.
The integration of technology, physical fitness, and cognitive learning will help my students grow into the best people they can be, ready for an ever changing world
