Watch out for Our 21st Century Learners!

Help me give my students the opportunity to become 21st century learners through using technology for blended learning, writing, and research. Having laptops and tablets will allow our students to continue their work as STEM scholars!

My Students

Our students have taught me more in the past 7 years then I have ever had the hopes of teaching them. They are an inspiration to our community! I wake up everyday wishing I could help make all their dreams come true. Even though they may not have a lot to look forward to at their homes or in their neighborhoods, it is my goal to make sure their classroom is an exciting learning environment that brings in 21st century materials. They deserve to be able to experience new ideas in a safe way through 21st century learning. Our school may not have many resources , but it can start within a classroom. As the curriculum designer for our ELA department, it is imperative that I bring the best resources, knowledge, and passion to all our students and staff. Staff members are always looking for new ways to bring innovated technology into the classrooms. Through the use of technology students can grow as learners, and see the world come to life right before their eyes. Our students come to school with a smile everyday no matter what, and they deserve to leave that way as well. They are the future!

My Project

What if students could experience reading and math on a piece of technology that they never had the opportunity to use in their classrooms before. To give our students laptops and tablets to use for their Lexia online phonics program, and their ST Math work will allow them to meet their goals. This technology will help continue to move our amazing scholars towards being on grade level by the time they move onto Middle School.

The students in our school have taught me more then I have ever taught them.

They are inspirations to our community! I wake up everyday wishing I could help make all their dreams come true. Even though they may not have all the resources or materials they need, they always come in the door willing and ready to preserver. It is my goal to make sure our school is fun. exciting, and a safe place for them to experience new things! Bringing technology into our school will help motivate students to grow as learners, and to help them expand their knowledge about our world! Our school may not have all the resources we need, but we do have each other!
