My students need graduation materials! We have worked hard all year and they are ready for 1st grade! They will proudly wear their caps and gowns on graduation day!

My Students

As a teacher in a low-income/high poverty school district, my students are faced with several challenges both in and out of the classroom. Despite the many challenges they face, I try to create a positive and caring classroom.

My students are very enthusiastic!

They love to get up and move around, read, and create! Many come from single parent households or are considered homeless if they live with grandparents. Due to their circumstances, they miss out on many "typical" experiences. I may not be able to control their home lives, however, I can certainly control their experience during the school day by creating a caring, safe, and creative classroom. By doing this, I am hoping to create lifelong learners!

My Project

My students have worked hard all year and are looking forward to our kindergarten graduation ceremony. Caps, gowns, tassels, and diplomas will all add the extra element of AWESOME to our ceremony.

I know that my students will be able to wear their caps and gowns with pride!

We have prepared a ceremony including awards, songs, and skits for our friends and families. This ceremony will hopefully be the first of many graduations in their lives and will encourage them to reach those educational milestones. We know that we have done our best and you can help us look our best!
