This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are very inquisitive. They love learning and doing collaborative projects. They are kind and stick up for each other. They are working on changing their mindset. Instead of giving up when something is challenging or they are frustrated they are realizing it might take more time or need to be looked in a different way. We celebrate our successes and work on things that could be better. They are an awesome bunch of students that really are missing school.

My Project

My students need to see step by step examples of how to complete math problems while we are remote learning. They need to see how compound words work. They need to see examples of all my direct teaching and see the process that goes with each lesson be it math, ELA/ELD, science, and social studies. This whiteboard will enable me to show as I teach.

I will be able to screencastify what I am teaching and send the lessons to my students.

Thus making it more accessible at home since they can no longer get direct instruction in the classroom.
