My Project

My students are growing, developing, and thriving through various opportunities and experiences with building, playing, literacy and math instruction and activities, art, and fine motor practices.

Developmentally appropriate materials such as matching games, paint, puppets, blocks, magnetic tiles, etc.

allow my kindergarten students to experiment, engage, and solve problems independently and with their peers. In my classroom, students are encouraged to play with others, take turns, and share. We do this every day in different ways.

I want to continually meet my students’ needs to help them learn and grow and create opportunities for self-directed learning. In my experience, academic gains will follow once those needs are met.
