Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Imagine a class filled with energetic, high-spirited, and hardworking individuals. I have a diverse class and my students have curious minds and are always eager to learn new things.
My students love challenges, experiments, and engineering activities.
They are kind and loving individuals who work together in making our classroom community a better one every single day. They always boost each other up and make learning fun and memorable for one another. What makes my class special is that you see a bunch of kids wanting to learn and who will work hard to do it.
My Project
My students need a washing machine, dryer, and detergent at school. We have costumes that students wear for culminating activities and also school plays and presentations. It would really save us a lot of time if students don't need to bring them home to get them washed and bring them back again to the school when they are cleaned. Oftentimes, students forget and it's a challenge to get the costumes back in a timely manner. Also, we are requesting the washer, dryer and detergent to help some of our students who do not own their own washing machine and dryers and sometimes will have to wait until their parents go to the laundromat to wash their clothes.
