My students need Squats Racks, weight belts and Bar Collars that are all essential safety equipment for a weight room. The Squat Racks allow more students to be participating, in a class of 40-50 that is huge!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
The students in my classes are all great kids. They are hard workers and want to be challenged both academically and physically. We often have large classes of 40 to 50 students and we need to continue to offer as many stations as possible in the weight room. To keep them effectively engaged in the positive benefits of exercise and how it can help them both in the classroom and personal health. My students are great kids, did I say that already? Thanks for all of your help in advance again!
My Project
This essential equipment will allow students to build a functional strength foundation. We have been working hard this year to build our base strength. Next school year we are looking to add power cleans and snatches to our already complex workout program. The squat rack will allow more students to participate in an already compact weight room. Weight belts allow students to have the additional back support while lifting heavy weights to build strength. The bar collars keep the weights from sliding off the bar and allow the weight to be evenly distributed during the range of motion throughout the exercise.
